Type Studies
The 6-Letter Monogram pushed me to design a cohesive type system, balancing legibility with a unified visual language across all letterforms. Adding dynamic quality, I made the decision to use a glitch effect on the bottom half of the letters.
Sequential Type challenged me to create a cohesive, fall-inspired color palette while exploring motion through typography. The subtle tilting of the letters suggests movement, reminiscent of leaves drifting as they fall.
As a step before developing the sequential type, I enjoyed the problem-solving process of masking overlapped letters with varying fonts. It was an abstract creation that explored differing solutions.
The 4-Letter system developed from R was a learning experience that informed readers of typography. My strategy was to use simplistic elements to communicate clearly to viewers while maintaining a system of consistency.
